Here’s how it works. When you place your order, simply select “Special Wood Request” and tell us the species you’d like. We’ll personally review the request, confirm availability, and select premium boards that meet our heirloom-grade standards — straight grain, stable stock, and the kind of figure that only gets better with age. If there are any cost differences, we’ll give you a simple, transparent quote before we begin. No surprises, no games.

Because this is handcrafted work (not factory furniture), special-request builds may add a little extra time to the process. Good things are worth waiting for — and your box will be built slowly, traditionally, and with old-fashioned pride.
